Freedom is what sets Ranther apart from the social networks, texting, messaging and blogging services. Ranther was designed from the beginning to maximize free expression and privacy. Unregistered posting is encouraged. Unregistered users can create threads, respond to threads and comment on blogs.
By allowing unregistered comments Ranther gives you even more freedom. You can play devil's advocate, have some fun or just let off steam. On Ranther you're not restricted to one identity. And you don't have to give us an email address to register.
Unlike many comment sections on newspaper websites comments stay open forever, and all opinions are welcome.
Ranther is independent. You won't be accidentally linked to any other site. There are no third party cookies, no Facebook "like" buttons, no ad networks, no offsite scripts, no GPS tracking, no profiling.
By protecting your privacy Ranther frees you to say what you want to without worrying about what your employer, family or anyone else will think.
But can you trust Ranther? You don't have to. There's no verification requirement for registered users. Giving us an email address is optional, used for recovering your password if you lose it.
